Growing up in Taiwan, Dr. Tsai has always been fascinated with animals – one would often find her reading at the animal/nature selection at a bookstore or watching Animal Planet in the library. Her passion for animals and medicine deepened as she learned to care for various pets. Such love led her to pursue her BS in Animal Science and Management, and later on, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, both at University of California, Davis. After graduating from veterinary school in 2018, Dr. Tsai worked at a clinic in Humboldt County before moving back to the Solano area, and later joining the team at Vacaville Animal Care Center in 2021. 

When Dr. Tsai isn’t treating her patients, she can be found hiking, reading, spending time with friends, or taking a long walk with her dog (and sometimes Mr. Cat will join as well).
